Dear friends,
This mailing list includes all the participants to the Summer School of Veterinary Endocrinology that will take place in Bologna in June from Sunday 24th to Saturday 30th.
The preparation of the Summer School is almost ready and I would like to give you some more information.
Poster
We would like to let you know that on Wednesday (Day 3) of the Summer School, there will be a poster session. It would be great of you could bring the posters of your past research, case reports, case studies. You do not need to make the new ones, just bring the work you presented at the past congresses and share it again! There is only one condition: the posters have to deal with endocrinology!
Do not hesitate to get in touch with me personally (federico.fracassi@unibo.it) if you need additional information. I would appreciate very much if you would let me know the title of your poster, so we can arrange the proper room for viewing.
Course
To date, the course has 112 participants … already a big success!
The lectures will take place in Aula Magna “Messieri”, the principal lecture room of the Vet School in Bologna. It’s quite a nice and comfortable “traditional” lecture room equipped with plugs for laptops.
Great news!!
Lunch and coffee breaks
Due to the generosity of the Sponsors the coffee breaks and the lunches are included.
The organization decided to use a catering service directly in the seat of the Course.
The catering service will provide a coffee station for the morning and afternoon coffee breaks, and the lunch. The lunch will be served at the ground floor and in the internal courtyard of the Vet School. People can rest a little bit outside using chairs and tables, or directly on the grass. In this way, we think you can taste good Italian food in a very easy way, avoiding losing time to find out a place to eat in the lunch break.
Social Events
We will have two (maybe more…we are still planning such events) opportunities to meet together. They represent a fantastic opportunity for people to know each other and you are strongly encouraged to participate! The social events are free of charge for the participants (including drinks!). For organisation reasons, I will ask you in the future to fill a quick form just to have the gross number of people attending. Specifically:
On Sunday 24th June there will be a welcome cocktail (drink and food) at the pool very close to the Vet School.
The Summer School dinner will take place in the garden of the Vet School on the evening of Monday 25 th June. There will be obviously music and the possibility to sing and dance!
