Stijn is a honorary Professor in Internal Medicine at the Royal Veterinary College, getting his kick out of being involved in teaching and research, especially in the field of endocrinology.
He has co-founded his own consulting company Veterinary Specialist Consultations, as well as VIN Europe, a growing independent information and support network "for vets, by vets", sister of the global Veterinary Information Network vin.com consisting of nearly 100.000 vets. It is VIN Europe's aim to ensure colleagues feel supported in their consulting room by offering a network of specialists, online textbooks, conference proceedings, drug formularies and even a Virtual Veterinary Internship, to anyone, anywhere, always in an unsponsored, unbiased, independent manner.
Stijn is also President Elect of the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.
