Awards
MSD Animal Health has been the sponsor of ESVE since its inception in 2001.
As part of its annual sponsorship program to encourage research in the field of veterinary endocrinology, MSD Animal Health also awards an annual prize for the best abstract presented at ESVE by an author under 35 years old. As of 2007, the winner will get to present their abstract during the next ACVIM congress with the MSD Animal Health award (value of € 1,000.00) supporting attendance of this congress.

2023 winners | Stefania Golinelli (University of Bologna) and Paul Norman (Royal Veterinary College) were joint award winners in 2023, and will present abstracts at ACVIM in 2024.
2022 award winner | Marit van den Berg (middle, Utrecht University) with Linda Horspool (right, MSD Animal Health) and Miguel Campos (left, President ESVE) in Gotheburg, Sweden. Dr van den Berg was awarded first prize in the oral abstract presentations and will present her abstract at the ACVIM forum in 2023.
2021 award winner | Dr Stephanie Scheemaeker (University of Bern). Dr Scheemaeker was awarded first prize in the oral abstract presentations and will travel to ACVIM in 2021 to present her abstract at the ACVIM forum.
2020 award winner | Joana Aguiar (Royal Veterinary College). Dr Aguiar was awarded first prize in the oral abstract presentations and will present her abstract at the ACVIM forum in 2021.
2019 award winner | Dr Eve Tièche (middle, Bern University) with Linda Horspool (left, MSD Animal Health) and Dr Federico Fracassi (right, President ESVE) in Milan, Italy. Dr Tièche was awarded first prize in the oral abstract presentations and will travel to ACVIM in 2020 to present her abstract at the ACVIM forum.
2018 award winner | Dr Carole Shuppisser (middle, Zurich University) with Linda Horspool (left, MSD Animal Health) and Dr Federico Fracassi (right, President ESVE) in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Dr Shuppisser was awarded first prize in the oral abstract presentations and will travel to ACVIM in 2019 to present her abstract at the ACVIM forum.
